The Snapmaker Artisan is manufactured to industrial quality standards. Its linear modules contain high-strength steel linear guides that are CNC ground to micron precision to ensure accuracy, rigidity and longevity.
Modern all-metal construction for excellent stability.
The Artisan's all-metal construction highlights Snapmaker's signature design features. Equipped with a larger, optimized base plate, the 3-in-1 printer is stable even during high-speed printing (e.g. in CNC processes).

Ultra-fast print speeds with high accuracy
An optimized transfer system and motion control algorithm ensure that Artisan prints with a dimensional accuracy of ± 0.1 mm, even at a print speed of 180 mm/s!
Super-fast changeover between platforms, modules, hotends and extruders
Convenient tool buttons and switches allow you to switch between platforms and modules (3D, laser, CNC) in an instant - the ultimate in ease of use!
Snapmaker's Luban software not only automatically detects nozzle types and sizes, but also recommends custom, out-of-the-box parameter settings to help you complete your projects in a snap.
The 3D printing module also automatically switches between two extruders thanks to a specially integrated motor. There is no need to move an additional tool head or change a switch, which can also result in quieter dual extrusion.
Smooth surfaces and soluble materials
Artisan's 3D dual extrusion module is compatible with PVA, HIPS and other soluble support materials - ideal for support structures! The support material dissolves after printing, leaving only a smooth surface! Removable support structures make it easy to print complex models and parts without laborious post-processing.
Heated bed
The heated bed of the Snapmaker Artisan is heated differently in each zone. While the 260 x 260 mm inner zone reaches temperatures of up to 110°C, the maximum temperature of the outer zone is 80°C.
The special feature of this zoned heated bed is that the inner zone heats up to 60°C within 2 minutes. The outer zone remains unheated, saving energy and time!
Automatic bed leveling and easy calibration
Artisan features automatic bed leveling and allows calibration in a few simple steps.
Special double-layer impression plate with excellent adhesion
The Artisan printing plate is made of glossy glass on one side, which ensures excellent adhesion of the first layer, especially with flexible filaments such as TPU or similar. The other side of the plate has a PEI coating which ensures excellent adhesion even with other filaments such as PLA, PETG and other materials.
Powerful engraving and cutting.
The powerful 10 W laser module cuts materials incredibly fast and deep, and also offers the option of laser engraving!
All this at a speed of up to 6,000 mm/sec for 8 mm thick wood, for example! That's 8 times faster than a 1.6 W laser! Incredible!
An ultra-fine laser focus of 0.05 mm × 0.2 mm enables precision work with fine details!

Hard or soft, Artisan works on any material: wood, leather, brick, plaster, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, corrugated cardboard, MDF and much more.
Enhanced CNC performance with the 200W CNC module.
The new 200 W CNC module has incredible power! The ER11 collet, custom collet set and dust-proof design, already known and appreciated features of Snapmaker 2.0, have been retained.
Improved speed
Compared to Snapmaker 2.0, the new Artisan CNC module is up to 6 times faster, with up to 300% more power and 50% faster spindle speed!
Dimensional accuracy of 0.2 mm
Thanks to high-rigidity linear modules and a high-speed spindle, the CNC module cuts different materials with a dimensional accuracy of up to 0.2 mm.
For different material types
With great ease and incredible precision, the CNC module can machine different types of materials: different types of wood, jade, carbon fiber, HDF, copper-clad sheet metal, epoxy tooling material and many more.
Precautions to avoid accidents with the laser.
The Artisan comes with a safety cabinet that reduces laser hazards from Class 4 to Class 1. The cabinet door has an opening sensor that immediately stops the laser process if the door is opened. A gyroscopic sensor prevents the laser beam from escaping if the module is not in its normal position. The printer is also equipped with an emergency stop button; paused processes can be resumed later! The laser module has another practical function: if a built-in temperature sensor detects a temperature above 55 °C, the laser module stops working automatically.
7-inch touchscreen
The large 7" touchscreen has a large viewing area and its intuitive user interface ensures smooth operation and ease of use.
Advantages:
Luban Snapmaker software, developed in-house, allows you to control the configuration of 3D printing, laser and CNC processing with a single software.
The software has extremely useful print modes and preset parameters that will help you finish your prints faster than you think! Of course, you still have full control over the machining process.
